To say that the delightfully talented Kim Melville was predisposed to becoming an artist is an understatement. With a guitar-playing father, a choreographer mother and a pianist grandmother, Kim's path was clear. After studying piano, the guitar became her playmate. She studied for 3 years at the IMEP, which opened her up to all styles of music and allowed her to find herself artistically speaking. Like Laura Cox, she got her start on YouTube and Instagram (check out her fabulous version of “Whole Lotta Love” duet with Eric, her dad, on both). And if Manu Lanvin gave her a guitar, it's worth noting that her Melody Maker, customized for her, was the brand's first signature with a legendary woman, namely Joan Jett. She ignites her notes with rock, glam, pop and even metal influences. And it makes Eddy Mitchell say: “Where are my roots? Nashville or Melville?"
